Rebels European Championship
Aaron is one of our Trainee Technicians and takes part in Rebel Racing.
It was the Rebels European Championship on the 15th and 16th July, It is always a big weekend for us with lots of cars taking part and it always brings the big crowds in.
We usually have 2 heats and a final and need to get a good qualifying time for Sunday European.
My car was on good pace in practice so I went in heat 1.
The grid line up is in colour grades and I am a red top ‘superstar’ and one of the fastest so I have to start half a lap down on the leaders.
I had a good heat one finishing 5th.
Heat two even better and I had a battle on my hands but managed to get a 2nd place to put me in the second row for The European Championship on Sunday!
So with 45 cars on the track I could see it being a messy race…….
I came 3rd! My first ever in a Championship and that’s against the number one World Champion!
To get top 3 is a massive achievement!
