PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An over 55’s development on the site of the former Police station in Berkhamsted High Street.
The scheme consists of 21 two and three bedroom apartments along with 2 three bedroom houses. The scheme also involved the relocation of Berkhamsted Library into a new purpose built open plan Library on the ground floor of the development.The scheme was designed by the planning architect to give the appearance that it had evolved over time whilst retaining the vernacular of Berkhamsted.
MIAKODA BRIEF:
To optimise approved planning layouts to suit Beechcroft’s requirements for retirement living. Produce fully detailed building regulation drawings along with additional large scale detailing to aid construction. Produce electrical and heating layouts, marketing plans and legal conveyancing plans, check and approve specialist manufacturer’s information.
