PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The site of the former Delancy Hospital was redeveloped to provide a mix of 25 non age restricted private new build houses, 12 new build house/apartments for the over 55’s, 9 apartments for over 55’s in the original Hospital admin block and scarlet fever block which were both carefully restored/converted.51 one and two bedroom rented/shared ownership. Extra care apartments were provided in a single block with communal lounge, dining, shop and hairdressers for exclusive use by extra care residents. The extra care building has been designed to achieve a BREEAM – Very good.
MIAKODA BRIEF:
Post planning process to optimise the approved planning scheme, produce fully detailed building regulation drawings along with additional large scale detailing to aid construction. Produce electrical layouts, marketing plans and legal conveyancing plans. Provide information for BREEAM application, carry out purchaser changes and check/approve specialist manufacturer’s information.
